Personal Data Protection in Thailand - Are you Ready?

  • Monday, April 20, 2020
  • 14:00 - 16:00

Amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, things have to move on, including getting ready for the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) compliance from 27 May 2020 onward.

The PDPA has been published in the Royal Gazette on 27 May 2019 with one-year grace period. This act reflects global trends in personal data protection (e.g. EU GDPR). If you fail to comply with the act, you may face administrative fines of up to THB 5 million and criminal fines of up to THB 1 million.
